Kinesiology

Kinesiology is a holistic way of detecting and correcting imbalances in a body’s energy. These imbalances may relate to stress, injury, nutrition, learning difficulties, pain, anxiety or some other cause.

Kinesiology is the use of ‘muscle-testing’ to find out where these imbalances are and what is needed to correct them. The body has channels of energy running through it called meridians. These may become blocked in some way and manifest in muscular tension.

By testing various muscles we can get a read-out of what is happening and begin treating them. As a result, the body chooses what is best for the client, rather than the practitioner telling them what is needed.

Who Can Benefit From Kinesiology?

Kinesiology can help anyone in need of physical or spiritual re-balancing. However, it doesn’t just deal with ailments; it can also help improve performance and the achievement of goals. This can be at work, home, in sports, at school or in relationships. Although we are often able to improve our health and well-being to a certain degree on our own, sometimes we need a helping hand along the way.

I provide Kinesiology sessions in Belfast and NI. This type of therapy is suitable for all ages; however anyone under the age of 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
